Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Renewal Choir Gears Up for Easter Bank Holiday Gospel Reggae Extravaganza!

Renewal Choir family is thrilled to be taking part in a vibrant, spirit-filled celebration this Easter Bank Holiday! We’re honoured to be supporting God His Love Productions’ Gospel Reggae Extravaganza — an evening guaranteed to bring joyful energy, uplifting music, and powerful messages of hope.

📅 Date: Saturday, April 19th
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – Midnight
📍 Venue: Malcolm X Centre, Bristol

The event features an exciting lineup of gospel reggae artists, including Joshua Kesler, Dennis McCle, and DJ Proclaim, and we’re delighted to share the stage with talents such as Axe, Amari, Steve Marshall, and Ksia. There’s also a special guest appearance by Jamard Roberts, plus inspiring spoken word by Spear.

As Renewal Choir, we love opportunities to blend our gospel sound with diverse musical genres that celebrate faith, culture, and unity. This event promises to be a powerful showcase of God’s love through reggae rhythms and soul-stirring praise — and we’re looking forward to adding our harmony and energy to the mix.

In Tribute to Dr. Paul Stephenson OBE

It was just a few weeks ago that Curiosity UnLtd proudly orchestrated an event in Bristol to commemorate 60 years since Paul Stephenson’s historic one-man sit-in at the Bay Horse Pub. That courageous act, alongside his pivotal role in the Bristol Bus Boycott, ignited a movement that led to the UK’s first Race Relations Act in 1965.

Sadly, Dr. Paul Stephenson OBE passed away shortly after this milestone celebration. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family. May he rest in eternal peace. 🖤🙏🏾

From being Bristol’s first Black youth worker to becoming an honorary Freeman of the city, Paul’s extraordinary life saw him awarded doctorates by both of Bristol’s universities, and his name honored through trains, scholarships, and buildings. His immense legacy will continue to inspire generations.

In his memory, Renewal choir presents this musical tribute—an expression of gratitude for a man who bravely stood against injustice and paved the way for a more equitable future.
