Miriam was one of the first positive psychologists in Europe and has become one of the UK’s leading practitioners in the field. She holds the MSc in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) with Distinction from the University of East London, to where she now returns as a visiting lecturer to shape the next generation of positive psychologists. UEL was the first European university to partner with the MAPP established by Prof Martin Seligman at the University of Pennsylvania. Miriam is also on the faculty of the Executive Masters of Applied Positive Psychology(EMAPP) in Portugal and an associate lecturer at UWE. She is a highly engaging speaker and has delivered keynotes at conferences, festivals and other events. Miriam was recently named as one of Top Sante magazine’s ’100 names you need to know in health & well-being’ and in April 2013 she became one of Bristol’s first Happiness Champions.
