Maxine is a lady who describes singing as her passion and anyone who has experienced the sheer “oomph” of Maxine live on stage will be under no illusions that this powerhouse of inspiration can put down some soul stirring lyrics each time she has the opportunity to “let her light shine”.
A season vocalist from Bristol Maxine has performed with the likes of London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) and the Inspirational Choir, and has also appear numerous times on tv and radio. She also uses her amazing talents and experience at grass roots level by actively encouraging and supporting other singers in her role as choir director at her local church in St George.
Maxine is no stranger to performing with Renewal Choir as her contributions, each time she is asked to lend her voice, continues to excite and engage all who witness her commitment and dedication to giving of her very best.
For this year’s Handel’s Messiah Soulful Celebration Maxine will be singing the duet “Comfort Ye” with Joanne Howell as well as taking the evening to its crescendo with the lead in the event finale “Hallelujah” chorus.
