Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

In Tribute to Dr. Paul Stephenson OBE
Curiosity UnLtd proudly orchestrated an event in Bristol to commemorate 60 years since Paul Stephenson’s historic one-man sit-in at the Bay Horse Pub. That courageous act, alongside his pivotal role in the Bristol Bus Boycott, ignited a movement that led to the UK’s first Race Relations Act in 1965.
Sadly, Dr. Paul Stephenson OBE passed away shortly after this milestone celebration. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family. May he rest in eternal peace. 🖤🙏🏾
From being Bristol’s first Black youth worker to becoming an honorary Freeman of the city, Paul’s extraordinary life saw him awarded doctorates by both of Bristol’s universities, and his name honored through trains, scholarships, and buildings. His immense legacy will continue to inspire generations.
In his memory, Renewal choir presents this musical tribute—an expression of gratitude for a man who bravely stood against injustice and paved the way for a more equitable future.
