In 2011 Renewal Choir become a Community Interest Company (CIC) The company’s activities provide benefit to the music appreciating people and communities of the Bristol area and beyond. In addition we engage choir members seeking to develop a “mastery” of the gospel music tradition. The main activities of the choir can be broken down into the 4 core activities areas listed below:
Public Events and Festivals
Catalyst for promoting gospel music’s important contribution to the rich cultural heritage of Bristol and beyond.
Charitable Events and Projects
Providing singing performances in support of community projects and charitable organisations promoting social causes and raising funds in the Bristol area and beyond.
Community Action
Promotion of the Christian faith for the benefit of the general public and cross community cohesion.
Technical Improvement
Provision of vocal and music workshops and rehearsal sessions to improve the competence of choir members who wish to develop a mastery of the gospel music tradition
