A happy throng of Renewal Choir members braved the wet weather to come out in support of the Happiness Corner at the Bristol Harbourside festival on July 27th.
In spite of the torrents of rain the conditions could do nothing to quench the sanguine spirit of the choir who performed their set under a makeshift gazebo covering with the Lloyd s Amphitheater as a “grand” backdrop.
A cheer crowd of bedraggled onlookers cheered and danced enthusiastically to the Joyful noise of the choir. As they stood corralled beneath the shelter of another couple of flimsy gazebos we even had requests for songs where even a man in a drunken state was moved to sing along with his request for the choir to sing Amazing Grace.
Well done Chad for keyboard accompaniment your soulful chord progression added to the ambiance of the whole experience!
