Handel’s Messiah Soulful Celebration – Geraldine Luce

For many, hearing the name Geraldine Luce (nee Latty) immediately brings a welcome smile to the face, as one reflects on the wonderful influence of this dynamic, charming and very gifted lady of gospel. We are extremely fortunate to secure the talents of Geraldine as, this summer, she was swept off her feet by her dashing new “multi-instrumentalist” husband Carey Luce to leave the dreamy pace of the Bristol life in exchange for the hubbub London.

Geraldine is a seasoned professional recording artist having been involved in over 15 different recording projects as an artist in her own right or as a contributing artist. Geraldine is equally comfortable live on stage and has travelled the world visiting countries such as Australia, Canada, Norway, New Zealand Amsterdam Budapest and Bulgaria to name a few destinations.

For Handel’s Messiah Soulful Celebration Geraldine’s contribution to the evening will be in the delivery of the challenging and up-tempo jazz-styled, “Why Do The Nations” accompanied by her husband Carey on the keys – we’re in for a real treat.

Geraldine is steeped in the Pentecostal tradition, and has spent a number of years being a part of the Methodist Church but has also worked across various church denominations in pursuit of passion. of sharing God’s gift of music with others. Whether it’s leading worship, working with teenage mothers, charity concerts running community choirs, recording albums and contributing to live albums, songwriting, appearances on BBC “Songs Of Praise”, mentoring or  writing articles for magazines, Geraldine’s driving desire is to “get into God”. – to know this awesome, life-transforming full of love and welcome, passionate and compassionate God.
